Beechcraft Denali Progressing Toward Certification

As the new Beechcraft Denali turboprop progresses toward FAA type certification, the company’s three test articles have flown a combined total of over 1,340 flights and more than 3,330 flight hours as of September 2025. This progress builds on the certification of the aircraft’s powerplant, GE Aerospace’s Catalyst, earlier this year.

A newcomer to the single-engine, high-performance turboprop segment, the Denali also features a new McCauley propeller. Designated the C1106, it features composite blades with nickel leading-edge guards and electric de-ice/anti-ice capability. Pilots will be provided with dual-channel FADEC and propeller control to optimize efficiency and provide engine protection.
