Space Shuttle Crew Transport Vehicle

Originally manufactured as a “people-mover” that moved airline passengers between terminal and aircraft at Washington Dulles airport, this Crew Transport Vehicle (CTV) was repurposed by NASA in the 1990s to transport Space Shuttle crews from the Shuttle to medical facilities at Edwards Air Force base for medical evaluation after landing. The CTV is now on loan to the Air Force Flight Test Museum at Edwards, California.
