Beta eVTOL Electric Aircraft Introducing Urban Mobility Through World Tour

With electric aircraft emerging as a major element of future urban air mobility, Beta is wasting no time demonstrating its new eVTOL concept worldwide. Kicking off its world tour in the US, the company flew the conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL) version of its all-electric aircraft to 26 states and over 80 airports. More recently, it has embarked upon a similar European tour that began in Ireland and is progressing through the United Kingdom and France.
Far less complex than pure eVTOLs that utilize multiple rotors for vertical takeoffs and landings, the fixed-wing CTOL aircraft provides communities and stakeholders with a real-world example of electric flight and the infrastructure required to make it a reality.
Otto Aviation Concept Jet
Among the various aircraft concepts in various stages of development, one particularly compelling design is from Otto Aviation.
Spiroid Winglets – Sculpting Air to Increase Efficiency
It might not seem logical that adding additional structure to an aircraft’s wing could reduce drag and enable it to slip through the air more efficiently.
Skyryse – Simplifying Aircraft Control with New Technology
Aviation startup Skyryse progresses toward FAA certification for a revolutionary new pilot/aircraft control interface that can simplify piloting and increase safety.
